Heater Will Not Turn On

• Power cord loose: Make sure the heater is plugged directly into a working wall outlet.
• Outlet has no power: Test the outlet with another device and check the circuit breaker or GFCI outlet.
• Power switch off: Check the main power switch, control panel, thermostat setting, and mode button.
• Tip-over switch active: Place the heater on a flat, stable, hard surface so the safety switch can reset.
• Overheat protection active: Unplug the heater, let it cool completely, remove obstructions, and restart according to the manual.

Heater Runs but Does Not Heat

• Thermostat set too low: Increase the temperature setting above the current room temperature.
• Fan-only mode selected: Select low heat, high heat, eco mode, or comfort mode instead of fan-only operation.
• Eco mode cycling: Some Pelonis heaters cycle on and off automatically to maintain the selected temperature.

Heater Shuts Off Suddenly

• Thermostat satisfied: The heater may stop when the room reaches the selected temperature.
• Timer expired: Check whether an auto-off timer has been set.
• Overheat protection triggered: Turn off and unplug the heater, allow it to cool, then clean the vents and check clearance around the unit.
• Tip-over protection triggered: Place the heater upright on a stable, level floor.
• Electrical overload: Avoid sharing the same outlet circuit with high-power appliances such as microwaves, hair dryers, or other heaters.

Pelonis Ceramic Heater Problems

• Weak airflow: Clean dust from the intake grille and make sure the rear air inlet is not blocked.
• Burning dust smell: A mild odor may occur when dust burns off, but persistent odor requires cleaning and inspection.
• Oscillation not working: Check the oscillation button, remote setting, and whether the base is blocked by carpet or objects.
• Fan noise: Inspect for dust buildup, loose grille parts, unstable placement, or debris near the air path.
• Heat cycles frequently: Move the heater away from cold drafts, walls, and heat-trapping corners that may affect the thermostat sensor.

Pelonis Oil-Filled Radiator Problems

• Slow heat-up: Oil-filled radiators warm gradually and may take longer than fan-forced heaters to heat a room.
• Clicking sound: Light clicking during heat-up or cool-down can occur as metal expands and contracts.
• No visible glow: Oil-filled radiator heaters do not normally glow or blow air like ceramic heaters.
• Room not warming: Close doors and windows, set a higher thermostat level, and allow more time for heat to build.
• Unit feels too hot: Keep children, pets, curtains, bedding, and furniture away from the heater surface.

Digital Thermostat Problems

• Temperature reading seems wrong: Keep the heater away from drafts, windows, direct sunlight, and other heat sources.
• Set temperature not reached: Make sure doors and windows are closed and the room size is suitable for the heater.
• Display not responding: Unplug the heater for several minutes, then reconnect and reset the desired mode.
• Eco mode confusion: Eco mode may automatically switch heat levels or pause heating to maintain efficiency.
• Settings lost after unplugging: Some models may reset mode, temperature, or timer settings after power is disconnected.

Timer and Remote Control Problems

• Timer not working: Confirm whether the timer is set for auto-on, auto-off, or delayed operation according to the manual.
• Remote does not respond: Replace the remote battery and make sure the battery polarity is correct.
• Remote signal blocked: Aim the remote at the front control panel and remove obstacles between the remote and heater.

Odor, Noise and Airflow Problems
